Vetlab is a beautiful little golf course in Kabete, Nairobi. The course is located near to the agriculture university of Nairobi. On the course you immediately get the impression that the university has had some influence on the feel of the course. The fairways are lined with a large variety of different threes and bushes giving the course a very personal fingerprint "a small botanical garden". After the seasonal rains the course really comes to life with flowery bushes and flowery threes lining all the fairways.

The club Was founded in 1923 and the the 9 hole course was fully completed in 1924.The birth of the club is attributed to Mr. Eric Tilley and a few other golfers at the initial Veterinary Laboratory. The club is known for the lovely scenery with a large variety of threes, bushes and flowers. It is also a very challenging course where you need absolute precision to keep a good score. The club is situated in Kabete (The Agriculture University compound) around 20 minutes drive from Westlans. In 2008 the club has undertaken the development of a further 9 holes to make Vetlab a 18 hole course. The development project aims to complete the extension in early 2011.
